Clifford & Cruz Inc (CCI) has informed us that, with California moving into phase two of reopening the State and the easing of some of the restrictions, the Clubhouse Remodel Project will start on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Worker restrictions will be in accordance with the current State and County directives. According to Project Manager, Joe Winkler, materials are becoming more readily available and CCI is excited about finally being able to start the project.
On Friday evening May 8th, the county Board of Supervisors voted to rescind and amend a series of local public health orders to better align with Governor Newsom’s statewide orders. Within the agreed upon rescissions was the move to make protective face masks and social distancing a personal choice. The Supervisors issued a warning that they ‘strongly recommend’ that the public continue wearing masks and practice social distancing in public areas. Those businesses that are allowed to be open, will also choose whether they require these protective measures in their stores with the knowledge that they assume their own risks in their decisions.
A new COVID testing site is opening at Noble Creek Community Center, 390 Oak Valley Pkwy, Beaumont. The site will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 7am – 7pm with processing capability of up to 132 people daily.
